Job Description

We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team for a family-owned cheese manufacturer located in Schiller Park on the first shift.

We are looking for someone with enough hands-on experience to confidently troubleshoot equipment and perform preventative maintenance, while also being willing to support day-to-day operational needs such as organizing parts, managing inventory, and handling tracking tasks during downtime. 

Schedule:

• Tuesday - Saturday (50 hour work week)

• Sunday & Monday are off days

You should be proficient in:

• Heavy Equipment Repair
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
• Journeyman’s License
• Electrical Troubleshooting
• Maintenance and Repair Skills
• Industrial Electrical Experience
• Electrical Systems & Diagnostics (Heavy Equipment)
• Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
• Mechanical Systems & Component Repair
• Equipment Installation & Wiring
• Equipment Repair & Maintenance
• Equipment Installation

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Conveyor Systems
• Servo Motors
