Schedule: Night or Day Shift | 2-2-3 rotation (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
A highly automated manufacturing facility is seeking a Shift Mechanic to support equipment reliability and production efficiency in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, light troubleshooting, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across production operations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical foundation with some electrical exposure, enjoys working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, and values consistency, safety, and long-term stability.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal operation
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
Respond promptly to production and maintenance requests while maintaining strong cross-functional communication
Maintain equipment in a safe, production-ready condition through proactive maintenance practices
Support and mentor junior technicians and trainees as needed
Participate in daily production meetings related to safety, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement
Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow established work instructions
Lead or support preventative maintenance programs and ensure schedules are followed
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and uphold safety standards
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as part of routine duties
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a maintenance or technical training program preferred
Experience
Technical Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to:
Electromechanical systems
Pneumatics and hydraulics
Basic electrical systems
Robotics or automated equipment (preferred, not required)
Proficiency using hand and power tools
No PLC programming required

$28–$36/hour, plus night shift differential
