Position Summary:

**

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Fort Worth, TX. This is a hands-on position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with experience working on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, power transmission systems, and automated manufacturing equipment. Experience within the corrugated packaging industry, particularly with rotary die cutters and folder gluers, is highly preferred.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production and converting equipment.
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance to minimize production downtime.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures and complete necessary repairs.
  • Troubleshoot industrial electrical circuits, motors, drives, sensors, limit switches, and basic PLC/ladder logic systems.
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and related components.
  • Service conveyors, gear trains, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and other power transmission equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment prints.
  • Perform equipment rebuilding, fabrication, and basic welding as required.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain both air-operated and electric pumps.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Support facility equipment including HVAC systems, air compressors, water chillers, and plumbing.
  • Use electrical meters, calipers, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and other diagnostic/measuring equipment.
  • Assist with maintenance improvements designed to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Analyze maintenance performance, including PM compliance, equipment downtime, and emergency versus scheduled maintenance.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, including applicable OSHA and maintenance safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and wear required PPE.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as required.

**Required Qualifications:

**

  • 2–5+ years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings, gear trains, pumps, and power transmission systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical circuits, motors, sensors, and related controls.
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, and motor drives/VFDs.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Welding and basic fabrication skills.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and responding to production breakdowns.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/work-order systems.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work 10–12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to safely wear required PPE, including hearing and eye protection.

Preferred Qualifications:

**

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience maintaining corrugated converting or packaging machinery.
  • Experience with rotary die cutters and/or folder gluers.
  • Knowledge of ink systems and corrugated production equipment.
  • Previous experience in a multi-craft industrial maintenance environment.
