Maintenance Technician

2nd & 3rd shift available

Aegis Worldwide is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities at a leading facility in the food and beverage industry located in Fort Wayne, IN. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Technicians will handle everything from machine setup and preventative maintenance to welding, plumbing, and building repairs. Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Responsibilities

• Setting up machines for various products,
• Trouble-shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics,
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment,
• Repair, rebuild and welding,
• Lubrication, hand truck repair,
• Building repair and maintenance
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Mechanical background
• Welding-Tig/Stick
• Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Plumbing skills (water, air and hydraulic)
• Ammonia Refrigeration knowledge
• Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong team player
• Communication skills: ability to communicate with a multitude of plant personnel as well as maintenance personnel.
• The ability to work at heights up to 25’ a ladder or man lift.
• The ability to work weekends is necessary.
