Job Description

We are looking for candidates for a** Maintenance Tech** opportunity with a great property management company in West Madison.

This is a full-time, evaluation hire position. Previous construction/maintenance experience REQUIRED.

Position Responsibilities:

- Interior and exterior residential property repairs, maintenance, and improvements

- Carpentry, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work

- Turnover work between tenants, including painting, patching, and preparing units

- Painting and drywall repair

- Routine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across building systems

- Tracking hours worked and retaining all material purchase receipts

- Completing work order documentation and property reports

- Coordinating daily workflow with property managers and maintenance team members

- Professional, courteous interaction with residents and owners

Position Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Experience in residential repairs and property maintenance

- Background check required

- Valid driver’s license

- Reliable transportation

- General assortment of commonly needed tools for residential repairs/maintenance

- Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize multiple tasks

Qualifications:

- Skills in residential maintenance, preventive maintenance, and general repair

-Ability to troubleshoot across multiple building systems

- Experience working in single-family homes and/or apartment buildings

- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general construction preferred

- Strong communication and customer-service skills

- Technical training or certification a plus

Schedule: 7am - 3pm, M-F

Pay: $25+/hr, depending on experience.
