- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Make timely and effective repairs on trouble calls to minimize down time.
- Perform effective repairs to equipment as directed by work orders, supervisor and manager.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians in repairs and modifications.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance as directed by work orders, supervisor and manager.
- Participate in all safety programs as needed for the department, including but not limited to lock out/tag out, confined space entry, PSM/PHA, MSDS for material used in maintenance activities, and safety meetings.
- Ensure Safety Compliance.
- Help maintain a positive and safe work environment.
- Order repair parts and materials from equipment manuals and catalogs.
- Support the Utilities team for any help they may need.
- Execute projects assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.
- Stay abreast of new technologies associated with the industry, through trade magazines, training classes and technical manuals.
- Document all work on the MPulse CMMS system with adequate notes and proper feedback.
- Actively participate in safety programs as needed for the department to maintain a safe, food safe, food quality, and respectful work environment.
- Maintain work areas and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
Special Requirements:
- Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining work areas in a sanitary manner.
- Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Participate in food safety training.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in environment.
- Ability to work well with people.
- Communication skills is a must.
Work Environment:
- Work in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Able to tolerate cold environments (cooler and warehouse)
Physical Requirements:
- Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)
- Sitting: Occasionally for short periods

- Twisting of Spine: Occasionally
