One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join their team in **Elk Grove, IL **location

**Pay Rate: **$22/hr - $26/hr

**Shift: **2nd shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel

• Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment issues and prevent unexpected downtime

• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and production line changeovers

• Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and perform timely repairs

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation

• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs using CMMS or maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine equipment repairs

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and industrial maintenance practices

• Ability to read basic technical drawings and equipment manuals
