Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our facility in Elgin, IL (60123). In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep equipment and building systems operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, including motors, circuits, breakers, lighting, and control panels.
• Read and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to maintenance requests and document all work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and OSHA practices.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and general facility support.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to improve operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, including 120/208/480V circuits, motors, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when required.
