Maintenance Technician

Location: Eastlake Area, OH (On-Site)

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing manufacturing and production company in the Eastlake area, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility operations and production equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Perform preventative, reactive, and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Complete routine maintenance inspections and safety checklists.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including painting, minor electrical work, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Track repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, vendors, and team members regarding maintenance needs and projects.
• Follow all company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to read electrical schematics.
• General knowledge of hand tools, power tools, machinery, and maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of digital printing or production equipment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, or respond to emergency maintenance situations when needed.
