The Maintenance Tech at our East Pittsburgh location will work with forklifts, cranes, blueprints, hand tools, precision measurement equipment, and various other manufacturing/maintenance processes. The right candidate will
- Possess a 2-year certification from an accredited trade school OR 3+ years’ experience.
- Be willing to work in Field Service which may include travel and long hours.
- Know how to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Have experience or familiarity operating Bridge points, table mill, lathes and drill presses.
- Have experience working on electrical equipment. (Cranes, breaker boxes, etc)
- Be proficient and comfortable with the machining, including set-up, preventative maintenance on equipment and equipment up keep.
- Must be proficient using micrometers, dial indicators and other measuring equipment related to the machining process.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Possess an intermediate knowledge of layout tools and equipment
- Knowing how to properly operate a forklift and overhead cranes is a plus
- Knowing how to correctly complete travelers and other documentation is a plus
- Work in temperatures that exist in mill type environments
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, which includes being able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules.

What you’ll need
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Related Mechanical or Electrical experience
- Be able to stand, crouch, kneel and climb stairs for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Basic math and computer skills
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Drug Screen and Physical Capacity Profile Test.
- Mathematics – Knows advanced shop math, and other functions necessary for the job
