POSITION SUMMARY | |
Maintenance Technicians insure machines run efficiently, consistently and reliably for Production Operations. They develop their skills and abilities in order to become proficient and efficient at resolving problems that cause machine downtime. All work is captured into an electronic database for future use by the maintenance and engineering teams. Assistance will also be provided with facility needs that arise such as issues with HVAC systems, plumbing, compressors, sliding doors, man lifts, pallet jacks, battery powered devices, et cetera. This employee owner will contribute positively to the company’s culture. | |
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: | |
Service, monitor, and maintain PLC and NC driven equipment, supporting devices, and factory equipment | |
Record all maintenance activity into electronic database and any complete all applicable forms | |
Use gages and measuring instruments to verify and meet tolerance requirements. | |
Drives and operates equipment such as scissor lifts, articulating lifts, forklifts, etc. | |
Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, etc. | |
Complete other duties as assigned by foreman or manager |

Comply with all quality and safety policies, specifications, regulations and instructions |

Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills: |
|
1. High School diploma or equivalency. Required |
|
2. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years Industrial Production and Facility Maintenance experience |
|
3. Knowledge and experience working with and maintaining PLC machines |
|
4. Mechanical/electrical system acumen and troubleshooting abilities |
|
5. Team player that can contribute positively to company’s culture |
|
6. Able to read and interpret blueprints |
|
7. Must have computer literacy |
|
8. Driver’s License |
