Maintenance Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Near Dalton, WI

Pay: $24–$35/hour based on experience

Shifts: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, 3rd Shift 10:30 pm–7:00 am (flexible start first day)

Type: Full-time

Alsum Farms & Produce, a grower and packer of potatoes, onions, and other fresh produce, is seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on large production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and lubrication of machinery.
• Clean, disassemble, and reassemble machines as needed.
• Identify and repair unexpected breakdowns efficiently.
• Install replacement parts and make minor modifications to equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS software.
• Keep tools, shop areas, and storerooms organized.
• Work with supervisors on new product installations or equipment upgrades.
• Other duties as assigned to support production.

Requirements:

• Vocational training, community college, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to handle fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Ability to use CMMS and HRIS systems.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights when needed.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and around production equipment.
