HP’s Corvallis site is a hybrid development and manufacturing factory, supporting advanced R&D, prototype manufacturing, and low‑volume production in a semiconductor cleanroom environment. Our technicians work on cutting‑edge equipment and processes that directly enable next‑generation printing and manufacturing technologies.
Role Summary
Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing electro‑mechanical subsystems such as motion stages, vacuum components, cooling systems, and opto‑mechanical assemblies.
Experience designing and fabricating custom fixtures, brackets, and alignment tools using CAD software and basic machining (mill, lathe, 3D printing)
Technicians in this role support semi‑automated manufacturing and R&D equipment and processes through a blend of process operation, troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities. Depending on business need and individual skillset, technicians may focus more heavily on process execution or equipment maintenance, with opportunities to cross‑train and grow into blended roles.

The pay range for this position is $29 to $43 USD per hour (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
