The role of the JR West Maintenance Technician is to support production through (1) fixing cells that are down, (2) completing PM's on all machines on the appropriate schedules, and (3) improving cells to allow for better production efficiencies.

Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical issues with production equipment
• Perform all Preventive Maintenance on cells as scheduled
• Help develop and implement countermeasures for reported quality issues
• Develop and implement improvements that increase cell safety
• Participate in the response of customer trouble reports for all external quality issues
• Assist the Production Engineering Section with implementation of quality/efficiency improvements
• Assist other JRM Maintenance personnel as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• High School Education. Secondary Education is a plus.
• Strong understanding of bending cells
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Physical demands and work environment:

• Physical demands: Lifting, using hand tools, crawling on/into machines
• Work environment: Duties will be on the manufacturing floor
