Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Coldwater, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs. Compensation is up to $30/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Food, bakery, beverage, or packaging manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience with ovens, mixers, proofers, refrigeration systems, or processing equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required (as part of VR duties).
