Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft)
2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities Available
Pay: Starting at $27.00/hour minimum (higher based on experience)
Shift Premiums:
- 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM): Additional $1.25/hour
- 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM): Additional $1.00/hour
Position Summary
DirectPath Recruiting Services is partnering with a leading manufacturer seeking skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support production equipment and facility operations. This role requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, CNC troubleshooting, robotics, PLCs, welding, and equipment installation.
Essential Functions
- Repair and replace defective equipment components using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, robotics, PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Inspect motors, drives, belts, bearings, filters, fluid levels, and other critical machine components.
- Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions using blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
- Assemble, install, and repair electrical wiring, machinery, controls, and production equipment.
- Inspect, test, and operate equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation.
- Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and metal repair work as needed.
- Install, level, align, and commission new manufacturing equipment.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting CNC machining equipment
- PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
- Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, etc.)
- Strong electrical maintenance experience, including motors, drives, sensors, and controls
- Mechanical maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and power transmission systems
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred
