We are seeking experienced Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support a manufacturing and packaging operation in Clinton, NC. This hands-on role is ideal for technicians with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who can diagnose equipment failures, perform repairs, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who understands industrial equipment, can work independently, and focuses on identifying the root cause of problems rather than simply replacing parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and industrial control circuits.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings.

  • Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, shafts, couplings, and other mechanical components.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

  • Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend permanent corrective actions.

  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.

  • Perform basic fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding as needed.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status during shift handoffs.

  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, PPE, and machine guarding requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with production personnel and other maintenance team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

  • Experience with industrial motors, motor controls, sensors, VFDs, and electrical test equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

  • Understanding of industrial safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.

  • Ability to diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs independently.

  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 12-hour shifts.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and access elevated platforms when needed.

  • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, reach, and work around industrial machinery.

  • Ability to work in an industrial environment that may involve heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment.

Available Shifts

Day Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule.

Night Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule. Candidates must be comfortable responding to equipment breakdowns and working independently with limited supervision.

Both positions follow a rotating 36/48-hour schedule. Weekend and holiday work may be required as part of the normal rotation.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay of $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

  • Full-time employment opportunity.

  • Opportunity to apply and develop hands-on industrial maintenance skills.

  • A team-oriented manufacturing environment where equipment reliability and safety are priorities.

Ideal Candidate

You are a hands-on maintenance professional who can troubleshoot complex equipment issues, work safely under pressure, and make sound decisions to restore production. You take pride in reliable repairs, preventative maintenance, and solving problems at their source.

If you have a strong background in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance and are ready for your next opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
