We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to join our Clare, MI team.

Job Summary

The General Maintenance position supports the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of company buildings and grounds. This role involves a wide range of manual and semi-skilled tasks to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, light plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical repairs.
• Assist with groundskeeping duties such as trash, chip bin and snow removal.
• Inspect and report issues with mechanical systems, lighting, and other infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests as directed by supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Team member mentality with ability to perform well under pressure and meet defined deadlines
• Safety and quality assurance mindset
• Physically able to lift 65 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
