Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and routine troubleshooting across all plant production equipment.
Utilize basic electrical, welding, carpentry, and general mechanical skills to repair systems and complete work orders promptly.
Safely operate AC/DC welders, oxygen/acetylene cutting tools, forklifts, and a variety of hand and power tools.
Recognize and adhere to all safety protocols, including strict Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and equipment safety shutoffs.
Prioritize daily maintenance tasks and projects based on production line needs.
Maintain clear communication with team members and accurately complete required maintenance paperwork.
Experience: 2–3 years of verifiable experience in industrial mechanics, industrial welding, and industrial hydraulics.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience).
Licensing: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Capabilities:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and push/pull loaded materials.
Comfort with climbing ladders, walking on catwalks, and maneuvering around, under, or on top of machinery in a dynamic plant environment.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) to read manuals, safety guidelines, and complete work orders.
