Pay, Shift and Location:

 

  • $36 depending on experience and skill (higher wage available for candidates qualified for Maintenance Technician 2).
  • $2.00 / hour shift differential!!
  • Monthly bonuses 
  • 3 weeks Paid Time Off
  • 9 Paid Floating Holidays

 

  • Schedule:  6pm - 6:30am, compressed work week, Thurs - Sat, every other Wed
  • Location: 16800 SE Evelyn St, Clackamas, OR

 

  • This is not required, but for interested candidates:  Portland Bottling Company is proud to offer an in-house LME apprenticeship program for Maintenance Technicians looking to continue their LME or further their career as an Electrician.

 

What Will You Do?

 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe systems.  

 

In this position, you will utilize the current Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to perform all required predictive and preventative maintenance activities including the documentation of these activities for tracking purposes. 

 

Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to enhance the safety, quality, and performance attributes of company equipment.

 

Specific Job Duties

  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose problems and repair machines.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
  • Clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
  • Document work performed in preventive maintenance database.

Experience and Education Requirements

 

  • 3 years minimum relevant mechanical experience required.
  • Experience working with Krones equipment a strong plus, but not required
  • Top candidates will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe systems in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to work with computers 
  • Ability to lift 50 – 60 pounds.
  • The most important characteristics for success are a strong work ethic, dependability, detail oriented and a team player.
