We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL, 60409. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Electrical and Mechanical skills.
  • 480v, 3 phase motors, hydraulic and pneumatic, plc troubleshooting, ladder logic, Fabrication, stick welding.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and Mechanical Systems

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
