Midway Windows & Doors, privately held and family owned for 60 years, is based in Bedford Park, Illinois.

Midway is a vinyl window and door manufacturer offering an opportunity to join our company as a Maintenance Technician.

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

**Required Skills & Experience: **

• 3-5 years hands on experience working as a maintenance mechanic or maintenance technician in the manufacturing industry

• Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing the following systems:- Pneumatics

  • Mechanical

• Experience with execution of Preventive Maintenance tasks

• Light electrical work required

• Computer literate for operating systems of machines and PLCs

• Correct or repair unsafe work conditions

Position: Non-Exempt

Previous experience working in the maintenance department for a window company is a plus.

The ideal candidate needs to act with a sense of urgency and have an understanding of what created the problem in order to effectively eliminate the issue thus preventing it from reoccurring.

• Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
• Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• Pneumatics Experience
• PLC Programming Experience
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
