Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift operations working full-time Monday-Thursday and may require working on Friday based on workloads.

Starting pay is $34.26/hour + 5% Shift Differential

A day in the life of a Maintenance Technician involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, HVAC, and other equipment. Uses various gages, meters, instruments, and machine tools to accomplish jobs. Reads, studies, and understands prints, wiring diagrams, and charts.

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent with 60 accredited hours in an industrial maintenance related program, and a minimum of four years’ experience in an industrial setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understands electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and piping schematics to aid in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Ability to solve math problems presented by jobs in this departmental skill level. Must have a valid driver's license and availability to be on call after hours adn on weekends on a roltaional schedule.
