Maintenance Technician
The candidate will need to live and operate from a permanent home based location within 50 miles of Fayetteville NC.
Shift: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and a repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities mechanical and electrical systems directly related to lighting. As a remote home based employee, your primary job duties will be making interior lighting repairs to approximately 50 grocery stores per month in a 50 mile radius of Fayetteville NC.
- Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports
- Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log
- Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations
- All necessary trucks, basic hand tools, equipment, and materials will be provided by Wesco.
- Candidate will work independently with no direct day-to-day field supervision.
- Communications and reporting will be through email, electronic devices, and iPhones.
- Training and oversight will be provided as needed.
- Vehicle is equipped with dash camera GPS and video capabilities facing both forward and at the driver.
- Driver events can and will be monitored, and video will be stored.
- Must have a good driving record to drive the company van.

Education & Experience
- High school degree or equivalent required
- 5 years of service and maintenance of electric machinery required
- 2 years of facility repair and maintenance experience required
- 2 years of handling high voltage test equipment required; 5 years preferred
Skills & Requirements
- Proficient in mechanical calibration
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
