Maintenance Mechanic – Food Manufacturing

2nd Shift | 2:30PM – 12:00AM

$28.00 – $35.00/hr + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Seeking a PM Maintenance Mechanic to support production and facility equipment within a high-speed food manufacturing environment. This role will focus on troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair food processing and packaging equipment including grinders, mixers, stuffers, slicers, extruders, ovens, and wrapping machines
• Perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and routine equipment adjustments
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting on AC/DC motors, motor controls, solid-state controls, grounding systems, and related circuits
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, manuals, and technical drawings
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, inspection records, and inventory levels
• Support preventative maintenance scheduling and equipment reliability initiatives
• Assist with equipment modifications, layouts, and production efficiency improvements
• Work across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a food manufacturing environment

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience within manufacturing or food processing environments
• Experience with high-speed processing, packaging, weighing, filling, or inspection equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Experience using multimeters and diagnostic tools preferred
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• High school diploma/GED, technical schooling, or mechanical certification required

Schedule & Benefits:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30PM – 12:00AM
• Monday – Friday with overtime and weekends as needed
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus after successful completion of first 90 days
