Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment in accordance with all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

  • Verify that guards and safety devices are properly installed and functioning before releasing equipment back to operations.

  • Monitor parts and supply inventory levels; request replacements and confirm receipt as needed.

  • Utilize maintenance management systems to document inspections, repairs, and equipment status.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to diagnose and repair machinery.

  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality-related issues; escalate concerns when appropriate.

  • Perform emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers.

  • Identify and report safety, quality, or operational concerns that cannot be resolved independently.

  • Inspect machinery in operation and use precision tools to diagnose issues.

  • Fabricate or modify repair components using appropriate shop equipment.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Operate powered industrial vehicles and lifting equipment as required.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

  • Comply with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Technical training, apprenticeship, military experience, or equivalent mechanical/electrical background preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication skills and basic math proficiency.

  • Ability to pass job-related testing, physical examination, and drug screening.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and perform repetitive motions as required.

  • Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Be able to work 3PM - 1AM
