Job Overview:
Day Shift Maintenance Technician
8am-5pm & M-F
Pay: $23-$30/hr
Performs routine audits to ensure conformance to operational and safety requirements and standards.
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance activities on systems to provide the continuous performance of HVAC, electricity, gas, life safety, security, and other systems required for operations.
Proactively report and request tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
Prepares records, reports, and other documentation related to work performed in an accurate and timely manner.
Performs general trades work in the facility as required.
Ensure up-to-date knowledge of operational and safety compliance, regulations and standards.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
TIG Welding and Millwright experience a solid asset
Electrical experience an asset
Knowledge of PLC, VFD and motor control is an asset
Experience in mechanical diagnosis, repair, and fabrication
Ability to analyze and determine cause of equipment malfunctions
