As a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift), your work directly impacts safety, efficiency, and product quality—ensuring reliable operations that support millions of customers worldwide.
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on high-speed production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair systems including blenders, fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, motors, and drives
Serve as a first responder to equipment issues and escalate as needed
Use tools ranging from hand tools to electrical and electronic test equipment
Execute and document work through CMMS, ensuring timely PMs and repairs
Inspect equipment and identify root causes and continuous improvement opportunities
Partner with production teams to maintain safe, reliable operations
Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
Mentor and guide team members, including trainees and operators
Assist with spare parts planning and ordering
Perform basic fabrication and welding tasks to repair, modify, or improve equipment and components
High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial shop environment
Hands-on experience with fabrication, equipment modification, and welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) in an industrial setting
Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting
Experience with:
3-phase power systems and industrial wiring
AC/DC motors and drives
Electrical test equipment (e.g., voltmeter, megger)
Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, and PPE standards
Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call support
Technical/vocational training in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or welding/fabrication disciplines
Experience with PLCs, servo/motion systems, and automation
Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79
Background in food manufacturing (GMP/HACCP environments)
CMMS experience (SAP preferred)
Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
PIT operation experience and personal hand tools
