Job Description

Hours: 2nd, 3rd, and Weekend shifts available

Pay:$27.00 - $41.00 /HR

Duties:

• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform daily tasks
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders to determine repair procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machines and facility systems
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs as needed
• Identify and report faulty operations or materials to management
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, and other lift equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Represent the company professionally during internal and external interactions
• Complete other tasks and assignments as directed by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with production or paper converting machinery preferred
• 2 years of experience with PLCs such as Allen Bradley, and HMI or an associate degree or equivalent in electrical engineering technology or electronic systems will be accepted.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, HVAC systems, and basic welding techniques
• Proficiency with hand tools and measurement instruments
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Forklift certification (initial and renewal every 3 years) and aerial lift certification required (annual)
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and be available for on-call support
• Occasional travel may be required
