PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support an industry leader in the global energy sector at a high-tech manufacturing facility in Allentown, PA (18109). Location: Allentown, PA (Fully On-Site)
Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) & 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $37.79/hr + 10% shift differential for 3rd shift
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of operations—ensuring critical production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your day-to-day work will include:
Performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment
Diagnosing and repairing CNC machines and industrial systems
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Calibrating instrumentation and process control systems
Rebuilding and repairing centrifugal and diaphragm pumps
Maintaining and programming motor starters, VFDs, and servo controls
Installing conduit, piping, and raceway systems
Supporting facility and building maintenance needs
Accurately documenting completed work and maintenance activities
Associate degree or Trade School certification in a technical field + 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
OR
High school diploma/GED + 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
Strong experience with electro-mechanical systems, CNC, PLCs, and industrial controls
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Willingness to work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
Ability to safely use specialized PPE (including arc flash and fall protection)
Must meet eligibility requirements for U.S. export-controlled data (U.S. persons only)
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and pump systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with modern manufacturing environments and controls systems

Pay Details: $37.79 to $41.57 per hour
