PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support an industry leader in the global energy sector at a high-tech manufacturing facility in Allentown, PA (18109). 📍 At-a-Glance

  • Location: Allentown, PA (Fully On-Site)

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) & 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

  • Pay Rate: $37.79/hr + 10% shift differential for 3rd shift

🔧 What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of operations—ensuring critical production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment

  • Diagnosing and repairing CNC machines and industrial systems

  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Calibrating instrumentation and process control systems

  • Rebuilding and repairing centrifugal and diaphragm pumps

  • Maintaining and programming motor starters, VFDs, and servo controls

  • Installing conduit, piping, and raceway systems

  • Supporting facility and building maintenance needs

  • Accurately documenting completed work and maintenance activities

✅ What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or Trade School certification in a technical field + 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience

    OR

    High school diploma/GED + 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing

  • Strong experience with electro-mechanical systems, CNC, PLCs, and industrial controls

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

  • Willingness to work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

  • Ability to safely use specialized PPE (including arc flash and fall protection)

  • Must meet eligibility requirements for U.S. export-controlled data (U.S. persons only)

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and pump systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Familiarity with modern manufacturing environments and controls systems

Pay Details: $37.79 to $41.57 per hour
