Job Description

We are hiring for Maintenance Technicians in Alachua.

Pay: $18 to $20/hr depending on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3-6 months

Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs, maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment to include, but not limited to, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, production equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, manufacturer’s specifications and environmental health and safety guidelines. Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.

· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls

· Install, assemble, or repair furniture, fixtures, and appliances

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas and workspaces

· Collaborate with vendors and contractors when needed

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

· EHS accountability requires a position to maintain 5S in the work area for a safe work environment.

• The Maintenance Technician will have a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of (1) to three (3) years’ professional related work experience.
