Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer to support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Support EHS and safety compliance programs, inspections, and audits.
• Maintain calibration programs for thermocouples, sensors, and testing devices.
• Create and update PM plans in CMMS systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, shutdowns, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Maintain equipment documentation and spare parts inventory.
• Support engineering and production teams with technical troubleshooting.
• Train and assist other maintenance technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems, PM programs, and calibration processes.
• Knowledge of process gas systems, furnaces, vacuum systems, and instrumentation preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs preferred.
• Welding, fabrication, and robot maintenance experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ABB or Fanuc robots.
• Experience with sensors, process controls, and instrumentation systems.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, transformers, and industrial electrical systems.
