Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer to support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Support EHS and safety compliance programs, inspections, and audits.
- Maintain calibration programs for thermocouples, sensors, and testing devices.
- Create and update PM plans in CMMS systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
- Assist with equipment installations, shutdowns, upgrades, and capital projects.
- Maintain equipment documentation and spare parts inventory.
- Support engineering and production teams with technical troubleshooting.
- Train and assist other maintenance technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Experience with CMMS systems, PM programs, and calibration processes.
- Knowledge of process gas systems, furnaces, vacuum systems, and instrumentation preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
- Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs preferred.
- Welding, fabrication, and robot maintenance experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ABB or Fanuc robots.
- Experience with sensors, process controls, and instrumentation systems.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, transformers, and industrial electrical systems.
