JOB SUMMARY:
Master Level- responsible for ensuring that the assigned department(s) are maintained in good working order in a manner that prevents disruption of the site’s operation and in accordance with OSHGA safety standards.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Technician ensures implementation of short- and long-term strategies for preventive maintenance scheduling and execution, for timely corrective maintenance actions, and for general site maintenance needs.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· 11+ years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience
· 20+ years in plumbing, electrical, and structures
· Experience with and oversees and participates in the maintenance
· Knowledge of equipment including machinery, building, computer systems, safety and security systems
· hydraulic systems
· Strong background in electro-mechanical process
· Must be resourceful and apply critical thinking skills in problem solving
· Knowledge and understanding functions of how boiler’s operation and maintenance
· Some experience of automatic processing system
· Ability to operate a computer using MD Products
· Physically capable and available to work some weekends and/or varied shifts
· Some knowledge of PLC’s and HMIs
· Document any issue and create new work orders
a. PLC, capable of edits, design, and repair
b. Understanding of how to adjust the program
c. Review technical drawings, and schematics
d. Testing electronics and basic digital electronics
e. Understanding the difference between AC/DC when troubleshooting
· High School diploma or GED
· Must be able to work at a fast pace
· Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
· Pushing and pulling up to 40 lbs.
· Other duties as assigned
