Maintenance Tech II:
Support Maintenance Department and the mission of the company.
Electrical experience is required.
Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration experienced preferred, but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly reports to Maintenance Manager; and will communicate and collaborate with other Maintenance Leads on concerns, problems, and status of repairs.
- Will promote a positive teamwork environment, by communicating professionally and in a timely manner within the maintenance department and with all other associates.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or ammonia refrigeration problems and completing the necessary repairs needed with experience, hand tools and the replacement and installation of required parts or components of the equipment, following all safety guidelines and quality GMP’s.
- Experience in electrical drives, motors, motor controls and PLC’s is required. Must be capable of troubleshooting and repair of mechanical operations to include pumps, grinders, hydraulics, air driven equipment and valves. Candidate needs 2-5 years of electrical experience.
- Prefer candidate with experience in and capable of troubleshooting and repair of anhydrous ammonia chilling.
- Prefer candidate who is OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certified or who has taken training within last 3 years.
- Must have computer experience and be capable of communicating in a digital format via email.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, however, reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Individuals must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. by themselves. Any weight more than this will require additional assistance from other team members or using mechanical lifting devices such as a forklift, crane or dolly.
