Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a CHS client by ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained residential environment. This role is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, responding to service requests, and delivering high-quality, resident-focused service across building systems.

We have an opening in Plum location and an opening in Robinson location

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, daylight-*rotational on-call

Pay: $21-23/hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do:

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems

• Complete repairs such as leaks, fixture replacements, electrical components, drywall patching, and painting

• Conduct property inspections, including move-in/move-out assessments and routine safety checks

• Maintain grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep of outdoor areas

• Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are ready within required timeframes

• Document maintenance work and maintain accurate records

• Participate in on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, or relevant trade experience/training (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry)

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and complete general maintenance tasks independently

• Basic computer skills (email, work order systems, etc.)

• Valid PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation

• Ability to be on-call and respond to emergencies within required timeframe

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
