Maintenance Technician – Apartment & Commercial Property Maintenance – Edmond, OK

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with experience in apartment communities, commercial buildings, or general property maintenance? We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team. This position is ideal for candidates who can perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, flooring, and general building maintenance.

Pay Range

$15–$23 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and property improvements for apartment and commercial properties
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Complete interior and exterior painting projects
• Repair and install drywall, flooring, doors, fixtures, and other building components
• Respond to maintenance requests, tenant work orders, and emergency repairs as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure properties remain safe and operational
• Inspect properties and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in an organized and safe manner
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
• Communicate effectively with property management and tenants regarding repair status and property needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, commercial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or property maintenance preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, flooring, and general repair work
• HVAC certification or trade certifications are a plus but not required
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties
• Reliable transportation to Edmond, OK
• Valid driver's license preferred
