Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose equipment issues using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and facility equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
