Join our Legacy  

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and leading the maintenance crew, coordinating with the production and engineering department. This leader is responsible for developing, coaching, and conducting performance reviews for the maintenance while exercising independent judgement related to diverse and specialized maintenance, installation, repair, and servicing machinery used in production. The Maintenance Supervisor leverages the utilization of plants computerized management software to document the execution of reactive, proactive, and preventative maintenance work with a commitment to continuous improvement of the maintenance organization. 
 

Your Contribution to Excellence 

  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
  • Recruiting, supervising, and training maintenance technicians
  • Create, implement, and supervise preventative maintenance activities.
  • Sets and upholds high work standards and expectations for maintenance team members.
  • Recognize opportunities to enhance operations through preventative maintenance.
  • Drive root cause analysis through utilization of 5 why (why/why), fishbone, zoom, etc.
  • Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.
  • Oversees facilities design and inspection, equipment repair and installation.
  • Inspect the quality of performed maintenance work.
  • Recommend budget items, contributing to the development of an annual maintenance budget.
  • Champions the use and leveraging of the Plant’s Computerized Maintenance Management System 
  • Guide the Maintenance team to perform in alignment with the site’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental/Regulatory/Safe Quality Food policies and procedures.  
  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve Maintenance-centered data gathering and analysis such as a MTBF, MTTR.
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities
  • Supervise electrical maintenance service and repairs of equipment and fixtures such as motors, lighting, and transformers.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures & schedules for existing and future equipment. 
  • Ensure adherence to a safe work culture and improve upon safety as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you Bring to the Table

  • Leadership experience of 3 to 5 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and work on multiple strategic and tactical work items.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented, with the ability to plan and execute job tasks independently.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical Engineering, with 7 to 10 years of experience in product development, food processing, and packaging systems in the food processing industry. (Preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or equivalent. (Preferred)
  • Previous Maintenance Supervision experience combined with demonstrated strong team building skills and professional values. (Preferred)

Salary Range: $101,000 to $112,000 based salary plus bonus potential.
