Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance operations and activities.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in budget planning and cost control for maintenance operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative maintenance solutions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role within an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
