Your Role at KIK

As a Maintenance Supervisor on **2nd

What You’ll Be Doing

Direct and support the maintenance workforce, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling in coordination with production, ensuring equipment availability meets production needs.
Implement and champion proactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure maintenance staff are properly qualified, trained, and supported, while administering encouragement and discipline as needed.
Enforce safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all maintenance activities.
Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts and supplies, and relationships with external vendors and contractors.
Monitor and utilize the CMMS to track maintenance activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a strong, visible presence on the plant floor, collaborating with production and plant leadership to facilitate operator-performed maintenance and major overhauls.
Requires occasional travel up to 10% for training purposes and to assist other plants as needed.

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
At least 2 years of people leadership or supervisory experience
Hands-on experience with assembly line machinery; PLC programming preferred
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S methodologies
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and safely navigate stairs, ladders, and confined spaces
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a proactive maintenance culture

**Physical Requirement: **

Occasionally exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force (up to 1/3 of the time).
Frequently applying 10 to 25 pounds of force (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time).
Constantly exerting greater than negligible force, up to 10 pounds (2/3 or more of the time) for moving objects.
