Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile Maintenance & Safety Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining a safe work environment, and improving operational performance through data-driven tools. This role blends responsibilities across maintenance coordination and safety compliance, with strong emphasis on production efficiency and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with Redzone Connected Workforce software to support real-time production and maintenance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment
• Support maintenance technicians with scheduling, prioritization, and work order tracking
• Monitor equipment performance and downtime trends
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical or operational issues

Safety Coordination

• Support enforcement of workplace safety policies and OSHA compliance standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and assist with audits
• Track and document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
• Promote a strong safety culture across production and maintenance teams

Systems & Production Support (Redzone)

• Utilize Redzone Connected Workforce software to monitor production performance and downtime
• Track real-time operational data and support issue resolution workflows
• Identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives using system data

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams
• Assist in training employees on safety procedures and operational best practices
• Support lean manufacturing and efficiency improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance coordination, safety coordination, or a combined role
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and production environments
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance practices
• Experience using Redzone Connected Workforce software strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
