Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will have performing as our Maintenance Repairman.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The function of the Maintenance Repairman is to service and repair equipment in support of facilities, manufacturing, and inventory control operations. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both electrical and mechanical systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Required: High School/GED Diploma
• Preferred: Trade Certification such as Journeyman, Electrician, or Mechanic
• Experience with CNC servicing and repairs (Mazak preferred)
• Required knowledge of electrical schematics and blueprints
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and develop more advanced technical skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Maintenance and repair of the buildings, grounds, equipment, and all mechanical and electrical systems included therein.
• Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and repair of all production equipment to include hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and logic issues with an understanding of root cause for preventative actions
• Efficiently and effectively complete maintenance work orders with minimal production downtime by coordinating with senior repairmen and department manager. 
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance across a range of CNC equipment and facility systems 
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues using prints, manuals, and schematics 
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and document work in CMMS
• Support efforts to minimize downtime and maintain production flow 
• Assist in installation and setup of CNC equipment and fixtures 
• Maintain repair parts inventory, request parts needed, and organized work areas 
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Perform new equipment and fixture builds and installations to support manufacturing.
• Support Facilities and operations as needed based on workload.
• Any other duties requested by the Facilities Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager.
