RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain plant EHS standards through proper housekeeping audits, prioritizing EHS work orders, and following safe work practices and procedures.
Ensure teams follows proper LOTO and safe work permit procedures for all work.
Ensure work order processes in SAP are followed and measured to track work efficiencies.
Coordinate assigned work order estimates, planning, scheduling and part availability with appropriate responsible people.
Ensure all PM and PDIS work orders are completed as scheduled. MOC written to extend date if unable to complete as scheduled.
Develop reliability program within the site. · Lead and participate in root cause analysis teams to assist in enhancement of plant equipment reliability and breakdown analysis to ensure repeat failures are minimized.
Assist in the development and review of a concise maintenance-training plan for all crafts.
Attend and contribute to plant hazard and project reviews as required.
Work with and lead contractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and budget.
Responsible for ensuring all team members have appropriate training for equipment they utilize and or operate.
Assist team in the development, implementation and participation in equipment tests, installation, and setup activities.
Ensure plant MOC process are followed for any changes required to plant equipment.
Support to plan, implement, and administer preventative maintenance and other programs to provide maximum life to equipment and reliability necessary to support the site and corporate guidelines.
Lead maintenance department and shutdowns as required; developing cleaning, maintenance, inspection plans and procedures for equipment, provide training as needed.
Support creation of new equipment numbers and spare parts. Ensuring parts numbers are created and attached to equipment BOM’s.
Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Apply ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and RC 14001 standard requirements as they relate to job function.
Actively participate in regional and site programs such Safety Reviews, Mechanical Integrity, 5S and others.

REQUIREMENTS
Degree: Preferred Engineering degree, or 2-year technical degree or continuingn education in mechanical maintenance or similar.
Years of Experience: Preferred 5 years
Skills: Mechanical Maintenance
Knowledge of:
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Piping schedule, flange ratings, grade of bolts, gasket selection and general pipe fabrication.
General knowledge of rigging.
Bearing replacement and lubrication.
Pump and motor alignments.
O-ring selection.
Mechanical seal assembly.
Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with external and international customers and vendors.
Ability to perform on-call, respond to after-hour emergencies, and weekend coverage if necessary.
Ability to perform supervisory duties.
Computer and troubleshooting skills.
