Job Title

Maintenance Reliability Electrician V - Plant 22 - Thomson Facility - $38.09/hr

Position Overview

Position Objective: The responsibilities of the Reliability Electrician V will include the electrical maintenance within the facility.

Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort,

manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility):

1. Comply with procedures found in SMS.

2. Perform all job duties using safe work methods.

3. Comply with Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy.

4. Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required.

5. Provide expertise and guidance concerning all department-related electrical and control systems.

6. Program, install, and troubleshoot PLC’s.

7. Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment.

8. Troubleshoot and repair/correct electrical/control systems within the facility.

9. Be proficient in the use of test equipment including but not limited to DMM’s, amp meters, and megger meters.

10. Install, repair, replace and maintain motors, drives, controls, starters, lights, power, communication, PLC, and other related systems.

11. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

12. Use Work Order System efficiently.

13. Knowledgeable in interpretation of schematics and prints as related to electrical/electronic equipment within Plant 22.

14. Know and adhere to departmental LOTO requirements.

15. Insures OSHA, NEC, and other local, state and federally required compliance on work performed, training delivered and other Maintenance activities.

16. Support 5s and Waste Recycling in the Plant.

17. Provide assistance to the Department Manager, Electrical Supervisor and Process Engineer concerning new projects and departmental upgrades.

Non-Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility):

1. Assist other Electrical personnel as needed.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to sit, stand or walk for eight (8) to twelve (12) hours.

2. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, lift, carry and reach occasionally.

Other Requirements:

1. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

2. Must be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.

3. Plant 22 is a tobacco-free facility.

Training Requirements:

1. Must complete New Hire Orientation.

2. Must complete job requirements training as defined in the Training Program Manual.

3. Must complete PRIDE Training.

4. Must complete SAFE Training

5. Must complete SMS Training.

Tools, Equipment, & Material Requirements:

1. Responsible for safety equipment issued including safety glasses and earplugs.

2. Responsible for materials and supplies issued.

3. Responsible for equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.

4. Follow all applicable environmental efforts and procedures for proper disposal of used materials.

Safety & Security Requirements:

1. Must maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.

2. Must report any unsafe conditions to supervision.

3. Must report all accidents, no matter how slight, to supervision immediately.

4. Must wear personal protective equipment at all times while in the designated areas.

5. Must comply with all plant and department safety rules and regulations.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
