Must have a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Must have a background in working for chemical, food additives or paints/coatings companies
Must have a strong track record in maintenance/reliability and it would be ideal if they had experience building a preventive/predictive maintenance program
Need at least some capital project experience
Must be willing to move to Illinois if not localThis company is looking for someone who can help them build some maintenance/reliability systems, both for the plant they have now and for the plant they will be building. This includes day-to-day maintenance activities on the equipment and processes they are currently running, as well as developing a more robust reliability program moving forward. Some days you'll be walking through the plant with a vendor to scope a repair, some days you'll be playing GC on a capital project. The real opportunity here is to have a lot of autonomy and influence in building a maintenance/reliability program that is really young.
