SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to manage and coordinate our organization’s maintenance operations. As a Maintenance Planner, your responsibilities will include scheduling and planning maintenance work, estimate costs, and ensure the efficient use of resources. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable about maintenance processes and equipment and able to identify opportunities for improvement. The goal is to ensure that the organization’s maintenance activities run smoothly and effectively.

 

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance work based on demand, workload, skill set, and priorities.
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure the completion of tasks within the stipulated time.
  • Identify and resolve any problems that could delay maintenance operations.
  • Order and manage the inventory of parts and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor the use of materials and resources and aim to minimize waste.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance database and records.
  • Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Other duties assigned by Maintenace Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILLITIES):

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or similar role in a technical field.
  • Excellent understanding of maintenance operations and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Further training or certification in maintenance planning will be a plus.
