Maintenance Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Location: Somerset, KY
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $25-$28 per hour

The Maintenance Operations Coordinator shall be responsible, but not limited to, the following: providing administrative, planning, procurement, inventory, and documentation support for the maintenance function for Prairie Farms Dairy – Somerset production facility.
This position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the facility's work-order system; monitoring preventive maintenance activities and repair schedules; procuring maintenance parts, materials, and supplies; maintaining accurate parts inventory records; and supporting compliance with company safety, sanitation, food-safety, and maintenance procedures.
The position works closely with Maintenance, Production, Sanitation, Quality/Food Safety, Purchasing, and other facility personnel to help ensure that production and support equipment is maintained in a timely, safe, sanitary, and documented manner.
This is an hourly, non-supervisory position. The position does not have direct reports and does not have authority to hire, terminate, discipline, or formally direct the work of maintenance employees.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. The employee is expected to work the schedule established by the Company and may occasionally be required to work outside the normal schedule based on production, maintenance, inventory, emergency repair, or other facility needs.
All hours worked must be accurately recorded in accordance with Company timekeeping procedures. Overtime must be worked only in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility. The employee may coordinate information, work-order status, parts availability, schedules, or other maintenance-related activities with Maintenance personnel and other departments. Such coordination does not constitute authority to hire, fire, discipline, evaluate, or independently direct employees.
The employee is responsible for maintaining accurate work-order, preventive-maintenance, procurement, and inventory records and for timely communication of issues requiring attention.
The employee is expected to escalate matters involving safety, food safety, sanitation, regulatory compliance, significant equipment failure, production impact, purchasing authorization, or technical decisions beyond the employee's established authority.
This position does not independently approve expenditures, modify maintenance procedures, bypass safety or food-safety requirements, authorize deviations from established procedures, or make technical repairs unless separately trained, authorized, and assigned to do so.
