Company Information: A company in the Edinburgh area is looking to add a Tooling and Mold Maintenance Technician to their team!

Pay/Benefits:

Schedule:

• 2nd

shift; Monday – Friday 2pm -10pm

• 3rd

shift; Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am

• Training will occur on 1st

shift; 6am-2:30pm and may last up to 6 months

Tooling and Mold Maintenance Tech's Job Duties:

• Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are production-ready
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair injection mold tooling issues
• Assemble and disassemble mold tools as needed
• Recommend improvements to tooling, processes, or equipment to increase efficiency
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Tooling and Mold Maintenance Tech's Requirements:

• Basic math skills, including shop or mechanical math

• Automotive Technician background preferred

• Automotive maintenance strongly preferred

• Ability to understand and follow technical verbal and written instructions

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Prior experience with injection mold tool maintenance and assembly preferred
