Position Description
The CNC Production Technician Master's primary responsibility is leading the troubleshooting of CNC equipment and ensuring Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures are completed. The technician will also support the documentation of PM procedures.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machine and Machining Centers
Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
Identify and replace parts as necessary; Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
Complete testing and adjusting of parts as needed
Perform preventative maintenance by planning, scheduling, and executing preventative procedures in conjunction with the production schedule
Repair and maintain manual machines
Train, coach, and mentor junior level technicians.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency with machine down conditions
General facilities maintenance

Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently
Ability to work unsupervised is required due to off-shift schedule
Ability to work weekends as required
Reading, writing and general math skills
Ability to work effectively in a group (Team) environment and individually
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Skilled Trade Certification, preferred
10+ years of experience is required
Demonstrated ability working with a range of CNC machines
Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides.
Experience with FANUC, Siemens and OEM controls.
Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities.
Advanced knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
Advanced knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
Physical Requirements
Work environment is almost entirely indoors
Ability to lift 35 lbs., stand, walk, bend/stoop on a regular basis.
Read & write verbal and written instructions
