Job Description

You will be the Maintenance Mechanic for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for repairing, replacing, and maintaining all machinery, plumbing, air conditioning, hydraulic, pressure, and physical structures as needed.

As the Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

• Blue print reading

• Mechanical aptitude

• Use of basic hand tools

Basic Qualifications

Utilizes independent judgment under general supervision to repair, replace, and maintain all machinery, plumbing, air conditioning, hydraulic, pressure, and physical structure required.
• Reviews blueprints, schematics, and specifications to become familiar with aspects of the job. Performs the routine portion of any planning and layout required. Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
